I wanted a segmented hood to complete the 'cocoon' theme of my Foundations Revealed competition entry and was surprised at how much I enjoyed making something different. Maybe I need to branch out my patterning to other garments? I feel I can only do panelled things though - I just can't get away from the corset thing!
